i have been trying to get my rate down to 15000 to see if it would help with lag and i noticed that things like this are still in:
Cl_maxping (change to 999999 to see all games in the world lol)
Strangely: g_allowvote (?)
Seta name (but it uses your steam name. Maybe in the teknogods 1.1 must use this one if it is steam free?)
Seta server1 through 16 (is this favorates?)
Sv hostname (your servers name? Maybe some fat guy (lol jurasic park 1) in IW has got some sort of server browser and can see all servers? Lol.)
Sv_allowdownload 1 (default on 1, this is for downloading mods when you connect to a mod enabled server)
What is ui_browsermod?
And: ui_browsershowdedicated (im telling you iw already has server browser and are playing lan happily by using browsermod and showdedicated)
Ui_maxclients 18 (possibly allow for 64 people like cod4?)
Ui_netgametypename dm
Ui_netgametype 0 (in cod4 im sure 0 is listen server. 1 is dedicated online and 2 is dedicated lan)
Surely with the first version of mw2 and console you could mess around with these and then type /map mp_rust and then for joiners: /connect 10.0.0.62
Oh yes. And has anybody got custom binds working. Like /say ^2****enemy predator missile/airstrike inbound!**** (some people just dont know what a minimap is for) i have tried writing bind p "say (see up)" and setting my mp_config.cfg to read only but no luck. Have they disabled it in the newer versions?
is what im saying can be done or am i being optomistic? because you can get into the main mp menu with steam in offline. so from that menu couldnt you just type in a few commands from above and then a mapname?
