You obviously didn't check hard enough.
Using the query port isn't the only way to get server info. I guarantee it.
Like Always, I've never forced my methods or scripts or ways on anyone with a gun to their head.
If you can provided a better solution then great. If you find an alternate way of doing this that work for you that that's cool too.
This solution was created purely because I couldn't find another way And Nobody else Stepped up and did something about it
So I came up with a solution as best I could according to my abilities and knowledge
I share my scripts with this community to help improve it. Nothing more
I do not know how to Query the server directly. Like you speak of...
The net_query port I used is write protected now so the method I used on STEAM Servers...

Doesn't work here anymore. Please know, I have a full time career and little time to spend on these projects.
I do it as a hobby basically.
I didn't test it recently and maybe it was fixed. I don't know. For now, this plugin does the job just fine.
If you / others use another way then please share with the community... If you wanna use this script that fine too.
